Most clients see smoothness for three to six weeks depending on hair cycle and growth rate. With regular waxing, hair often grows back finer and sparser, extending intervals between appointments. Individual results vary with hormones and skincare habits.

Some mild discomfort is normal, but pain is brief. We use expert technique, temperature-controlled wax, and fast removal to minimize pain. Applying numbing creams or taking a mild pain reliever beforehand can help; we’ll advise based on your sensitivity.

Exfoliate gently 48 hours prior and ensure hair is at least a quarter-inch long. Avoid retinoids, sunburn, or heavy moisturizers on the day. Arrive clean and if you’re on medications, inform us so we can adjust care.

Waxing can occasionally lead to ingrown hairs. Prevent them by exfoliating regularly, using non-comedogenic moisturizers, and applying gentle chemical exfoliants as directed. If persistent, book a follow-up for professional treatments like extractions or tailored skincare advice.

Avoid waxing over sunburned, broken, or irritated skin. Certain medications, recent chemical peels, blood thinners, or active skin conditions may contraindicate waxing. Disclose medications and skin history during booking so we can recommend safe alternatives if needed.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy exercise, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or recommended creams, avoid exfoliation for 48 hours, and wear breathable fabrics. Contact us if redness, swelling, or prolonged irritation occurs.
